NATURAL DYE’S PHOTODEGRADATION EFFECT TOWARDS OPTICAL PROPERTIES FOR SOLAR ENERGY APPLICATIONS

Photodegradation effect to natural plant waste under solar irradiation was investigated. Five plants namely, Averrhoe Bilimbi, Eugenia Clavifora, Elaies Guineensis, Terminalia cattapa and Clidemia hirta were selected from all over the states. Main purpose of this research study stability dye in presence sunlight radiation for future cell applications. FTIR UV-Vis absorption used investigate optical properties dye. Clavifora clearly revealed that it took more than 10 weeks degrade required 64% degradation percentage. Optical energy gap observed at 2.04 eV before exposure, while 2.15 after exposure sunlight. Efficiency hybrid cells leading highest performance 1.33%. This shows can be as a photosensitizer thus enhancing efficiency any
